This work offers an in-depth insight into the life and work of this lesser-known painter. The book, written by Dr. Valentina Bevc Varl, curator and art historian of the Maribor Regional Museum, thoroughly discusses the artist&#039;s life path, his influence on the Maribor bourgeoisie, and his extensive painting oeuvre, which includes portraits, sacred works, and landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>The monograph delves into Lind&#039;s work through various thematic areas, such as sketches, watercolors, sacred paintings, portraits of church dignitaries, Maribor mayors and distinguished citizens, and portraits for private clients.
